More than 20 years ago the idea of twelve high-end tourism destinations of an excellence segment in the European Alpine region was born: They joined forces in the Best of the Alps e.V. association, adopted a charter and pledged to offer the best in performance in any possible form and to set standards for the entire Alpine region.

SAAC - Snow & Alpine Awareness Camps

The best way to ski and snowboard is through open country. This is lovely but can be very risky. The SAAC raise awareness of this and teach people the basics of what to do if there is a risk of an avalanche and, of course, what to do if an avalanche does actually happen.
