BMW is the official partner of the Davos Winter Sports School which teaches alpine and cross-country skiing as well as snowboarding in various classes categorised in accordance with the Swiss Snow League system.

The Davos Ski Club.

The Davos Ski Club has existed for more than 100 years. Thanks to its targeted support, it has produced ski stars such as Paul Accola, Ambrosi Hoffmann, Beni Hofer and Seraina Mischol and has developed to become the biggest ski club in Switzerland.

BMW Winter Training in Davos.

Once again this season includes an exciting highlight which promises safety and driving pleasure in equal measure: welcome to BMW Winter Training in Davos, Switzerland. Professional BMW instructors will show you at the Flüelapass in Davos from February 2nd to March 6th 2017 (except sundays) how to keep a cool head even in the face of the most difficult road conditions.

Parsenn Derby.

The legend began in 1924, the year in which the Davos Ski Club first held the Parsenn Derby. Participants had to ascend the Parsennfurka on foot – there was no other way. From there the descent led down to Küblis. The time keepers left shortly before the racers and had to hurry to make it to the finish before the competitors did.

The Jatz Lodge.

Situated in the middle of the Jakobshorn skiing area at an altitude of 2,530 metres, the Jatz Lodge has been an institution since 1988. Here people party under palm trees until late in the night. At the full-moon parties, cheese fondue and torch-lit descents are seen as very trendy.

Prince Charles was even here once. Both he and anyone else who has ever been a guest here rate the cosy Fuxägufer mountain restaurant on the Jakobshorn, known as “Fun Mountain”, highly. Here the party does not stop until the wee small hours of the morning.

The cosy mountain restaurant on the Jakobshorn spoils its guests with plain, simple cooking featuring many home-made specialities and delicious fruit tarts.

Just a few metres below the summit of the Jakobshorn mountain, in the middle of a spectacular alpine landscape, the Châlet Güggel is situated with its wind-protected terraces on which attended double loungers with soft cushions, lambskin and woollen blankets just invite you to lie down and relax.

Tivoli Lodge.

One of the most sought-after hideaways in Switzerland; the Tibur Lodge in Davos is luxury on three floors including a wellness area and in-house cinema – for up to 16 people. The hotel is only 200 metres away from the next ski lift, too.

The Magic Mountain Legacy.

Thomas Mann paid tribute to Davos and its long tradition as a health resort in his novel 'The Magic Mountain'. Even in this day and age, the mountain air still has healing qualities - and the town likes to build on its reputation as a health resort. It has the highest number of top class spa hotels.

Steep and Leisurely.

Davos Klosters offers access to one of the largest skiing regions in the Alps. It is surrounded by six ski areas: Jakobshorn, Madrisa, Persenn, Pischa, Rinerhorn and the Schatzalp, totalling 85 downhill runs with 300 kilometres of piste. There is something for everyone here, whether carver, freerider or snowboarder, from very steep and athletic over ambitious to fun pistes.
