BMW Snow Golf Cup Megève.

Megève, the romantic chalet village in the French Alps, has a special highlight off the pistes this winter season: the BMW Winter Golf Cup 2017 will be held from 19th - 22th January - a renowned tournament which includes four exciting competitions - ensuring a thrilling experience not just for golf enthusiasts.

BMW xDrive Live Event Megève.

As an authentic chalet village and an exclusive meeting point for French celebrities, Megève has an additional highlight to offer this winter season: from February 5th - 24th 2017 it will be hosting the BMW xDrive Live Event, providing all visitors the opportunity to test the benefits of the intelligent xDrive all-wheel System.


Les Fermes de Marie*****.

'Les fermes', the 'farm houses', is actually a hotel with 70 rooms and suites, and two luxury class chalets. Staying here is like going back a century - without having to do without any of modern life's little luxuries, though.


Chalet du Mont d’Arbois*****.

The good thing about the Megève hotel scene is that it developed naturally - very slowly and steadily, so the town has retained its charm. All its hotels have 'that certain something', a wonderful example is the best hotel in town, the Chalet du Mont d’Arbois.


L‘Auberge de la Côte 2000.

A rustic Alpine hut right in the middle of a ski area: it started its life in Austria, and was moved to Megève in the 1960s. At the foot of the Côte 2000 piste: a dining hall with log fire, a large sun terrace, a buffet serving Savoyard specialities, barbecued meals and tasty desserts.


L’Idéal 1850.

This luxury Alpine hut is situated at the summit station of the Mont d‘Arbois and Princesse cable cars, with a 300 degree panorama across Mont Blanc. The Michelin Guide describes it as 'Megève's most glamorous mountain top restaurant'.



In the centre of Megève, in close proximity to the shops, bars and restaurants, is the Chalet Tanniere with its five luxurious bedrooms and a 60m² private spa. It is also only five minutes on foot to the ski lifts.


Flocons de Sel.

In a place where the rich and famous feel at home, the right culinary venues should also not be missing. In Megève, the gourmet gurus from Michelin and Gault Millau recommend above all the cuisine of Emanuel Renaut.


L‘Alpage at the Hotel Le Fer à Cheval.

Restaurant critic Gilles Pudlowski has credited the 'L‘Alpage' at the Hotel Le Fer à Cheval with serving the best fondue in Megève. The building used to house the village forge. The restaurant, recommended in the Michelin Guide, is also famous for its other Savoyard specialities.


'Les Enfants Terribles' at the Hotel Mont-Blanc.

Luxury brasserie with arty flair, dedicated to the myth of author and painter Jean Cocteau: Cocteau's novel 'Les enfants terribles' is the inspiration for the Hotel Mont-Blanc restaurant's name, and his paintings decorate the walls. The cuisine has been accorded two Gault Millau toques.

Seventy kilometres from Geneva (airport) lies the traditional winter sports resort of Megève. It boasts almost a hundred years of history as a fashionable ski resort. Much of the splendour, especially of the fifties, can still be felt in this prosperous ski resort with its well-kept villas and chalets. Especially when it comes to the celebrated après-ski with French savoir-vivre.
