The École de ski Argentière was founded by Robert Ducroz and his friend Marcel Charlet in 1937. At this time, skiing was above all used as a means of transport. It had hitherto not been regarded as an enjoyable leisure activity. These two pioneers changed everything simply by having the desire to pass on their passion and their knowledge.

The École de Ski Les Houches ski school, located directly at the foot of Mont Blanc, offers an extensive range of private and group lessons for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels. Over 60 excellently trained instructors ensure guests' are well looked after, sharing their knowledge of winter sports with enormous enthusiasm.

The ESF Chamonix Ski and Snowboard School offers first-class ski and snowboard courses with a view of Mont Blanc, and has done so ever since 1945.
