Grand Spa Resort A-Rosa*****.

Modern design and tradition are in perfect, award-winning harmony at the A-Rosa. Guests love the Grand Spa Resort particularly because of its - admittedly, it's in the name, after all - 3,000 square metres of luxurious spa facilities, the Spa Rosa. Also not to be sneezed at is the culinary variety offered by three restaurants, and the creative childminding facilities.

Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt *****.

The Bio-Hotel Stanglwirt celebrated 400 years of hospitality in 2009 – although, of course, by now, what started off as a small inn has grown into a five star luxury hotel, an establishment famous not just in Austria, thanks to its many celebrity guests.

Hotel Spa Rosengarten ****.

With the Hotel Restaurant Spa Rosengarten in Kirchberg master chef Simon Taxacher, who can boast several toques, offers a luxurious Relais & Châteaux oasis.

Maierl Alm *****.

To stay in a private chalet whilst still enjoying all the amenities of a hotel - this is possible in the Maierl Alm, in one of five 200 m² chalets. At an altitude of 1,225 metres, directly next to the Fleckalm ski slopes, the Maierl Alm offers superb panoramic views in the summer, too.

Hotel Schloss Lebenberg*****.

Today, it is a luxury hotel with 150 rooms, suites and apartments and, the crowning glory, a spa affording a 360 degree panoramic view, and a 'Panorama Pool' that is a full 46 metres long.

Harisch Hotel Weißes Rössl*****.

Old-fashioned hotel and contemporary abode, the best of both worlds: traditional, original premises and the modern annexe with spa facilities and generously proportioned multi-level suites.

Relais & Châteaux Hotel Tennerhof *****.

Kitzbühel at your feet: the Tennerhof is a magnificent group of buildings dating back to the 18th century, situated on a high plateau around 15 minutes away from the town centre. Surrounded by a park, it offers peace and quiet - and discreet all round service.

Kempinski Hotel Das Tirol *****.

The first Kempinski Hotel in Austria is simply called ‘Das Tirol’ and is situated seven kilometres outside Kitzbühel in Jochberg. The spacious five-star hotel is the only ‘Leading Hotel of the World’ in the region. Inter alia, it offers an exclusive 3,600 m² wellness area over three floors and obliging service around the clock.

Mountain Design Resort Hotel Kitzhof****.

The Hotel Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort is just around the corner from the historical old town of Kitzbühel, close to the Kitzbühel municipal park. Surrounded by the breathtaking backdrop of the Kitzbüheler Horn and Hahnenkamm, this hotel redefines what is meant by typical warm, cosy gemütlichkeit, complete with deer antlers and designer objects.

Superior hut magic at 1,870 metres above the sea-level on top of the Bärenbadkogel: the Bärenbaldalm prides itself on regional cuisine, a cosy atmosphere and good music.

Angerer Alm.

The Angerer Alm, located at 1,300 metres above sea level on the Kitzbüheler Horn, has 6,000 wines from 400 vineyards on offer, as well as gourmet cooking using only the finest regional produce. All this thanks to the charming, locally born lady innkeeper and sommelière Annemarie Foidl.

Berggasthof Sonnbühel.

Star chef Eckart Witzigmann says that this is the best food to be had in Kitz above 1,000 metres, and he should know: at the Berggasthof Sonnbühel on the Hahnenkamm, celebrities gather to eat the best salads, and more.

Petit Tirolia.

This is where Witzigmann’s pupil Bobby Bräuer cooks, and he does great honour to his former boss: the classy restaurant in the Grand Tirolia Golf & Ski Resort Eichenheim is the best gourmet venue in Kitzbühel.
